Do I Need to See a Physician?
Generally, when in doubt, consult with your physician. For Cervicogenic Headache, indicators that you should see your physician are:
- Worst headache of your life
- A headache unlike “any other” (compared to other headaches that you have had before)
- Headache stemming from a fall, accident, or other blow to the head
IF YOU WOULD DESCRIBE YOUR HEADACHE AS SEVERE AND ALSO SATISFIES ANY OF THE BULLET POINTS ABOVE, IT IS CONSIDERED A MEDICAL EMERGENCY.
