Did You Know?
Most people know that the biceps bends (flexes) our elbow, but did you know that it also helps raise your arm up overhead in front of you? This is why I think of the biceps as a shoulder muscle first and an elbow muscle second.
Do I Need to See a Physician?
Generally, when in doubt, consult with your physician. For Biceps Irritation, indicators that you should see your physician are:
- You feel like you cannot lift your arm at all
- Your range of motion is severely limited
- Onset of symptoms was with a fall or other accident
